The 18U Girls won the bronze at the OVA’s Furlani Cup event held at Niagara Falls Convention Centre on Feb 9th.

 

In pool play they lost to Niagara Rapids Dynamite 23-25, 25-21, 11-15 but then beat Toronto E381 in two big comeback wins 25-23, 25-22.

 

They opened playoffs with a victory over Niagara Rapids Rush 22-25, 25-16, 15-13 before falling to Hamilton Smash Strikers 15-25, 22-25.  They rebounded with another 3-set victory over their first-round opponent Niagara Rapids Dynamite 25-16, 25-27, 15-11 to win Bronze.
