The 6v6 Rampage team added to their medal haul this season by finishing second to Ancaster Lions at the OVA McGregor Cup event held in Hamilton.

In pool play, the Tornados defeated London Forest City Pine 25-11, 25-15 and the Niagara Rapids Summit 25-21, 26-24 to capture first in their pool.

 

In playoffs, they opened with a 27-29, 25-15, 15-9 victory over the Grimsby Vipers and followed that up with a defeat of Hamilton Smash Raiders 23-25, 25-14, 15-6 to reach the finals.  They lost a tight 23-25, 22-25 match against the Ancaster Lions to finish second.

 

The coaching staff is proud of the way the girls fought hard all day long and implemented tactics worked on in practice.  Looking forward to the next event.
